The Band
Concert Schedule

The Chatfield Brass Band plays a variety of concert band music, but places an emphasis on performing and preserving traditional band music and marches. The band rehearses during the school year. Performances include a Christmas concert, the summer concert series, and appearances at area parades and celebrations.

The director of the band, Carmen Narveson, is the elementary music teacher in the Chatfield schools. Curt Peterson, assistant director is retired after many years of directing bands in Minnesota and California. Band members range in age from 16 to 75 and come from a variety of backgrounds and locations. They are educated musicians and contribute in many ways to the success of the band.
